David has held management positions for several national collection agencies. His extensive debt collection and credit management skills are borne from 21 years industry experience. David is the President for the New Zealand Credit and Finance Institute and author of The New Zealand Guide to Credit Management.

Mike Tolhurst Director
Mike is principal of Auckland based law firm Citylaw. Admitted to the bar in 1985, he commenced sole practice in 1992. With over 20 years experience acting for agencies on debt collection matters, Mike offers a unique mix of collection and litigation expertise.

Teresa Jessiman
National Operations Manager
Collections is in Teresa’s blood.  Crammed into her 27 years of industry experience Teresa has worked for 1 bank, 1 finance company and 2 American multi-nationals. Add to this, her last 17 years working for both boutique and multi-national collection agencies and you can understand why she is well respected amongst her industry peers.

Fiona Rockel
Human Resources Manager
Fiona brings 20 years Human Resource Management and Organisational Development experience from Telco, FMCG, Charity and Professional Services sectors.  She has a passion for working with an organisation to get the best out of it, and enjoys business partnering and relationship management.   Fiona owns the Outstanding People strategy within Debtworks and is accountable for its delivery through performance management, workforce planning, organisational design, internal communications,  and training & development.

Louie Wong
Information Technology
Louie founded and has operated Advanced Microsystems Ltd since 1995 and as a contractor has formed an integral part of the Debtworks’ team since inception. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and is a widely recognized expert with 20+ years’ experience in the IT industry. Louie has extensive experience with both hardware and software coding having coded various systems for the accounting, credit control and debt collection industries.

Keith Wong
Financial Controller
Keith brings over 20 years of experience in the finance and insurance industry to Debtworks having only recently joined in April 2012. Prior to his appointment he has gained overseas experience working in the insurance industry in London for 4 years and subsequently returned to New Zealand in 1993, where the last 17 years of his career has been in both the insurance and finance industry. Keith holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in accounting and economics and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
